When feeding Pixies, remember that variety is the most important factor when feeding your pet a raw diet.

There is a term in the industry - complete and balanced. This means that one food contains all the vitamins, minerals and nutrients that your pet will ever need. Would you eat the same processed formula every meal, every day for the rest of your life?

Variety is achieved over time through multiple proteins and other healthy add-ins such as leafy greens, organs, meaty chew bones and tripe. The best diet contains the most variety over a 2 to 3 week period. A whole food vitamin and mineral supplement can be added on occasion if desired.
